Annette Reinhardt, 66, of New York City, was arrested on Wednesday, July 24, after Yorktown Police received a call about a civil dispute at 3673 Hill Blvd., said the Yorktown Police.
When officers arrived on the scene, Reinhardt allegedly threatened police and was screaming and shouting obscenities causing alarm to other people in the area, police said.
Police made multiple attempts to get the woman to quick yelling and blocking the sidewalk, but she continued to do so and took off running when police attempted to arrest her, police said.
Officers chased Reinhardt and were able to catch her, but she continued to fight and yell as she was placed under arrest.
Reinhardt was charged with obstructing governmental administration, resisting arrest and three counts of disorderly conduct.
She was released on her own recognizance to a third party and is scheduled to appear in court on September 3.
